My Son Texted Me What?

Text From 9 Year-Old

Stupid me, I thought I would not receive this kind of text until my son moved out or I gave into something he really wanted like a car, but nope!  We're getting ready for bed and I said, "give me hugs and kisses goodnight boys."  I got this text message instead.  Oh no, not in my house!  "Boys, as long as you're in this house, you will give me a hug and kiss goodnight, and this goes for the rest of your life."  9 year-old, "Mom, we love you, but we're growing up and things are going to change."  Why doesn't he just twist the knife he stabbed into my heart.
